POST 6: Time Travel to the Future

I find really fascinating and interesting everything related to time travel and the theories around it. I have thought about it several times and I believe it would be absolutely amazing to go back in time and be able to see how things were in the old times (even though I would be a little paranoid about changing something and messing up the timeline). But if I think of time travelling to the future I'm not pretty sure I would like to experience it. 

The main reason is that, once I come back to my time, I would be very conscious about everything that I do and how that can subserve the future that was showed to me, or completely change it, and I believe I most likely won't be in peace doing anything ever again, especially if that future is a near one and shows my life in a few years.

So if I time travel to the future, I would choose a time where neither I nor people related to me still exist. I'm thinking something like 300 years in the future. And once I get there, I don't deny it will be very interesting to see how society has improved in those centuries (if society is still a thing and humans keep on existing), if we leave behind the new technologies for a more simple life where we respect the planet and the nature more, or if quite the opposite happens and we go full on sci-fi, living all humans and robots or AI as the same (which sounds super scary).

I also would like to see what happens to the planet, since we are now in a very critical time for it, and it is still uncertain what its future is going to be. It would be a great relief to see that we are able to revert the damage we have made to the Earth so far, and learn to live in symphony with it, not demanding more of its capacity.

Whatever happens in there, I would like to get back to my time, to try to do something useful with the knowledge that I acquired from the future.
