POST 2: The Best Concert
On March 20th, 2019, the day of my seventeenth birthday, I attended Paul McCartney's concert at Estadio Nacional. My dad bought the tickets as a surprise to me, I went with him and my little sister. I remember seeing during that summer some billboard about the concert and my dad jocking about how boring it would be and bothering my sister, since Paul is her favorite Beatle. The thing is that I was not looking forward to attending his concert and it was quite and experience to go. I have been a Beatles fan for a long time now and I never really expected to listen to their music live, at least from one of the members. I remember the show starting and ending way I guessed it would be: with the songs A Hard Day's Night and The End, respectively. It was really good and we had a lot of fun, he performed some music from The Beatles and some of his solo career, and the one thing that I remember the best was singing the chorus of Hey Jude at the top of our lungs. Oh, and I almost forgot one of the most special things that happened that day, he sang Birthday, one of his Beatles songs that is precisely about that: congratulate someone on their birthday, and I felt it was dedicated to me, even though there were probably more people on their birthday in that place.
